What we collect, why — and how to delete it. Updated: October 15, 2026

1. Account data

What: your name and email address. Why: to create your account, recognize you at sign-in and send essential service notifications (such as geofence events or subscription status).

When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email and an account identifier from Google. Your Google password is never shared with us and is never stored on our side.

2. Tracking device data

What: the IMEI and model of your GPS trackers and the asset name (vehicle, container) you assign to each of them. Why: to link the devices to your company and tell them apart on the map and in reports.

3. Telematics data

What: coordinates, speed and sensor readings of your GPS trackers. Why: this is the core of the service — the live map, route history, geofences and reports are built from this data.

Important: we collect the location of your GPS devices, not of the phone you run the app on. The app does not request access to your phone's location.

4. Purchase and subscription data

What: subscription status, payment history and technical transaction identifiers of the payment provider. Why: to provide paid access, show you your billing status and history, and resolve disputes in support.

Payments themselves are processed by the providers: Paddle on the website and Google Play in the Android app. We never receive or store your card details.

Who the data is shared with

Only with parties the service cannot work without: Paddle and Google Play — to process payments, Google — for Google sign-in, and Google Cloud — as the infrastructure hosting the service and its database. We do not sell your data and do not share it with ad networks or any other third parties.

How long the data is stored

For as long as you use the service — your route history stays available with no time limit. After account deletion the data is removed irreversibly.

How to delete your account and data

Yourself, at any time: go to Account → Delete company (in the app or on the web at telematics.anycodestudio.com/account). You confirm by typing the company name. Everything is deleted permanently: users, trackers, coordinate history, vehicles, financial records; an active subscription is canceled automatically.

Your rights

  • access your data and correct it;
  • delete the data completely (see above);
  • ask any question about data processing at the address below.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This section supplements the above and is addressed to users in California. The terms "business", "service provider" and "personal information" are used as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Categories of personal information we collect. Over the past twelve months we have collected:

  • identifiers — your name, email address and the Google account identifier: sections 1 and 2 above;
  • geolocation data — the coordinates and sensor readings of your GPS trackers: section 3;
  • commercial information — subscription status and payment history: section 4;
  • internet or other electronic network activity — server request logs, used to diagnose failures and to protect sign-in against password guessing.

In every case the source is you and your own devices; we buy nothing from third-party databases or data brokers. The purposes are stated in the sections above and the data is used for nothing else. Retention is covered in "How long the data is stored".

We do not sell or share personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising — neither for money nor otherwise — and never have. The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism therefore does not apply to our service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Precise geolocation as sensitive personal information. CPRA treats tracker coordinates as sensitive personal information. We use them solely to provide the service itself — showing an asset on the map, drawing a route, triggering a geofence, counting mileage — and never to infer characteristics, preferences or behavior about a person; we do not sell or disclose them. These are the uses for which the law does not require us to offer a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" option.

Your rights. You have the right to:

  • know which categories of data we collect, where from, why and to whom we disclose them (right to know);
  • receive a copy of the data we hold about you in a portable form (right to access and data portability);
  • correct inaccurate data (right to correct);
  • request deletion (right to delete);
  • not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — the price and the features of the service do not change.

How to make a request. Write to hello@anycodestudio.com from the address your account is registered under — that is how we verify who you are. We confirm receipt within ten business days and respond substantively within forty-five calendar days; if we need longer we will tell you and extend to ninety days. An authorized agent may act for you, with a power of attorney or your written confirmation of their authority.

You can also delete your data yourself, without contacting us, under Account → Delete company (see above).

If you are an employee of a customer organization. Where the trackers were installed by your employer, that employer is the business for this data and we are the service provider acting on their instructions. Send access, correction and deletion requests to your employer: we have no authority to act on this data ourselves, but we are obliged to help them fulfil your request. On monitoring notices, see employee monitoring notice.
